Collings Brothers has announced it has been dropped as a Case IH dealership, in a post to followers of the company on Facebook.
The post which went live today (March 13, 2020) said the manufacturer had made the decision as a result of another manufacturer’s dealership reshuffle in the area.
"The decision has been made by Case IH to restructure their dealer network, following the repercussions made by John Deere in 2019 and in doing so have appointed a new dealer to cover the area presently covered by Collings Brothers," the post read.
It has two depots, one at Abbotsley and the other at Brigstock, covering Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and the surrounding area.
It went on to say; "The Collings Brothers team are clearly devastated by this decision, however we can hold our heads high and will continue to give our loyal customers the outstanding service they deserve. Case IH have assured us that the area and our customers will be supported going forward, which is very important to
Collings Brothers of Abbotsley have been in the agricultural engineering business since its formation in 1930 and dealers of Case IH equipment for 29 year. It will cease trading the manufacturer’s equipment on March 11, 2021.
