Ambulance crews were called out to reports of an injured elderly man on a farm on the Aberdeenshire coast yesterday (September 19)

It is understood the elderly man may have fallen from a height while carrying out work on the farm near the village of Crovie.

An air ambulance was later requested and took the man to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary at about 1:45 pm.

While the nature and extent of his injuries are not yet known, it is believed he has sustained ’potentially serious’ injuries.
