Farmer, 70, killed on farm in County Armagh

A farmer in his 70s has died after an incident on a farm in County Armagh.

The man died at the farm in Silverbridge on Thursday (August 25) afternoon.

 

Reports suggest the incident involved farm machinery.

 

The Health and Safety Executive Northern Ireland (HSENI) said it had launched an investigation into what happened.

 

A spokesman said: "Our thoughts are with the family involved at this very difficult time."
