Farmer dies in combine harvester tragedy

A farmer has died after an incident involving a combine harvester in the Dungannon area of Co Tyrone.

 

The man who has been named locally as James Irwin was engaged to be married.

 

He was believed to be in his 30s.

 

The incident reportedly happened on Sunday afternoon (September 11).

 

HSE Northern Ireland said: “HSENI is investigating a fatal incident on a farm in the Dungannon area. Our thoughts are with the man’s family at the most difficult time.”
