Farmer killed after being trapped in farm machinery

At about 1pm on Wednesday, a farmer lost his life after being trapped between farm machinery.

An investigation is underway after a farmer lost his life in a farm incident in Ireland on Wednesday (June 15, 2016).

 

The farmer, who was in his 60’s, is believed to have been spreading fertiliser when he became trapped between two pieces of farm machinery.

 

The incident happened at about 1pm on Wednesday in Clongall, Co. Meath.

 

The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has launched an investigation.
