Farmer killed in digger tragedy

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has confirmed it is investigating after the man died from an incident with a digger in Ogle, Northumberland on Thursday, December 1.

 

A spokesman for Northumbria Police said: “Emergency services were called out to Bonas Hill Farm, in Ogle, Northumberland, at 7.58pm on Thursday December 1, following reports of a man injured from an incident with a digger.

 

"The man was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI) with serious injuries but sadly died."

 

The HSE and the Police are liaising for further investigations.
