Protests took place at Muller’s sites at Market Drayton, Bridgwater and Foston on 11 August
Farmers for Action (FFA) protests shut down Muller depots at Market Drayton, Foston and Bridgwater last night.
About 60 farmers blockaded Bridgwater in Somerset with tractors. Market Drayton in Shropshire and Foston in Derbyshire were also targeted by the group.
Muller had posted a legal notice to processors on the gate at Market Drayton threatening legal action against protesters.
The sign said: "Blockades are acts of unlawful militancy and whilst we fully respect the right to lawfully protest, this should not include trespassing onto our property, illegally blockading public highways or otherwise unlawfully preventing us from pursuing our legitimate business interests."
