The first episode of Farmers Guardian’s new podcast, Ploughing Through Brexit, has been released.
Hosts Will Evans and FG’s chief reporter Abi Kay were joined for the 15-minute podcast by Neil Parish MP, chair of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Select Committee, and Nick von Westenholz, Brexit and international trade director at the NFU.
Together, they discussed what could happen next in parliament after the drama in Westminster last week, how the UK’s domestic food production standards can be protected in law and what can be done to keep farmers interested in Brexit when most people are switching off.
FG’s editor Ben Briggs said: “I am really proud to announce the launch of this new podcast, which will add an extra dimension to our already industry-leading Brexit coverage.”
Anyone can find the new podcast on FG’s Brexit hub, which you can visit HERE.
