Fram Farmers purchases more than £190 million of products and services annually.

Its members farm in excess of 350,000ha, purchase 110,000 tonnes of fertilizer, 45 million litres of fuel, 100,000 tonnes of livestock feed and £30m of agrochemicals.

History

Mr Anscombe was appointed chief executive of the company in 2010.

The company’s history can be traced back over 50 years.

As farmers looked for ways to tackle high cost infrastructures, cooperatives were formed in the 1960s including Framlingham Farmers, West Essex Farmers and Cambridge Farmers Trading Company, which laid the foundations for the AtlasFram Group.

In July 2014 the cooperative renamed and rebranded to Fram Farmers Ltd.
