Top price of the day was Greenholme Jemima, a two-year-old grey filly from S. Mallinson, Hardendale. By Greenholme Look At Me, it was knocked down for 1,600gns.
After standing fourth in its class, the two-year-old black filly Greenholme Jenna, from H. Wilson, Kirkby Stephen, hit 1,450gns. By Greenholme Warrior, it has Lunesdale breeding.
Olivia Swailes, Bolton, took 1,400gns for the seven-year-old Heltondale Star Boy II daughter, Firtreeroyal Duchess.
In the foal section, trade was topped by Greenholme Lucas, from R.J. and B.K. Potter of the Greenholme stud. Placed sixth in its class, this grey colt is by Greenholme Ringo and sold for 850gns. Greenholme had a great run, also taking 820gns for Greenholme Lets See and 800gns for Greenholme Lady Hawk, respectively.
The pre-sale championship was awarded to the black colt Greenholme Luigi also from the Potter family. By Lunesdale Union Jack, it later sold for 650gns.
Following on from the breed sale, other Mountain and Morland ponies went through the ring. Topping this section was Roandale Dylan, a ¾ bred Dales colt foal from C. Parker, Barnard Castle.
