Further developments in the John Deere dealership roster, sees Netherton Tractors progress north into Aberdeenshire and the Highlands.
As of November 1, 2020, the John Deere dealership Netherton Tractors will operate from two new outlets in Turriff, Aberdeenshire and Nairn, Highland, replacing HRN Tractors in the region.
It was announced in June that the dealership is to establish a new agricultural and homeowner equipment outlet in the Perth and Kinross area. The new premises at Units M-P, Arran Road just north of Perth are situated close to the A9 and offer modern, purpose-built office, storage and workshop facilities.
This will bring the total number of Netherton group branches to five, including the two established businesses at Forfar in Angus and Glenrothes in Fife.
Garry Smith, Netherton’s general manager says; “This latest expansion into the north of the country represents another considerable investment in our business, and we very much look forward to establishing a positive presence in the region as soon as possible.
“We are proud of our reputation for delivering top quality after-sales and service support to our customers, across the full range of John Deere agricultural and homeowner equipment as well as our other key franchises. We are actively seeking suitable premises in the Turriff and Nairn areas and will be looking to recruit new and experienced staff to meet the same high standards.”
Chris Meacock, the manufacturer’s division sales manager says; “Since Netherton Tractors joined the John Deere agricultural dealer network in 1987, it has grown the business to become one of our best performing dealerships. It is well known and appreciated for delivering a very high standard of customer service and support. We are therefore delighted that this latest expansion into the north of Scotland will enhance the customer experience of our advanced technology product range.”
In addition to John Deere equipment, the group’s other franchises include Kramer, Kverneland, Dewulf, Bailey, HEVA, Bunning, Opico and Nugent.
