While many would wish to be in her shoes, future Queen, Kate Middleton has revealed she would ’secretly love to be a farmer’.
In line to inherit 52,609 hectares (130,000 acres) of land, Prince George and Princess Charlotte are being taught all about farming.
And after an interview with 15-year-old Young Farmer, Bea Hodge, the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton announced she would ’secretly love to be a farmer’.
As reported in the Telegraph, the Duchess of Cambridge has revealed she is making sure her children have what it takes to farm when they grow up.
The Royal couple were visiting a Youth Centre in Truro, Cornwall when they were discussing life ambitions with the teenagers there, claiming they ’yearn for the simple pleasures of tending the land’.
The Duchess spoke to Ms Hodge of Wadebridge Young Farmers who revealed the Duchess was teaching George and Charlotte all about the farm at Sandringham.
Ms Hodge told the Telegraph: "She’s [The Duchess] been teaching George the difference between barley and wheat and everything they grow on the farm there.
“She wants the children to learn all about farming and the apples in their orchard. She said she’d secretly like to be a young farmer.”
