Kubota has shown its new mid-size range of tractors, the M6002 series, at this week’s FIMA Show, held in Zaragoza, Spain.
The new range will slot in between the existing ranges of the M5001 and the M7003.
The M6002 series offers three models: M6122, M6132 and M6142, with powers of 121, 131 and 141hp respectively.
All models feature a four-cylinder, 6.1-litre, Stage V engine which features an additional 20hp power boost for transport operations. The engine has an extended cleaning interval of the DPF from 3,000 to 6,000 hours. Additionally, it comes with a 230 litre fuel tank.
The transmission is an eight-speed powershift, with shifting progressive adjustment designed for high speed and heavy towing capacity. These powershift models include the new Xpress restart function, as seen on its M7003 series, a brake to clutch function. It will reach 40kph at 1,640rpm.
A new cab has also been added. It features a new multi-function lever arm rest with shuttle, engine memory, linkage control and auto shifting control. A wide sunroof offers visibility, for front loader applications. As standard, there are 10 LED lights, with the option for a further six working lights for 360 degree coverage. The cab is also equipped with a premium Grammer seat and mechanical cab suspension.
It features a 4.5m turning radius and has a closed circuit load sensing hydraulic pump with 115l/min capacity. Lift capacity at the rear is 7,000kg. It has four pto speeds; 540; 540E; 1,000; and 1,000E as standard. There is no word yet on price, but, availability will be during the second half of 2020.
