Kubota launch new mid-size tractor range

Kubota has shown its new mid-size range of tractors, the M6002 series, at this week’s FIMA Show, held in Zaragoza, Spain.

The new range will slot in between the existing ranges of the M5001 and the M7003.

The M6002 series offers three models: M6122, M6132 and M6142, with powers of 121, 131 and 141hp respectively.

All models feature a four-cylinder, 6.1-litre, Stage V engine which features an additional 20hp power boost for transport operations. The engine has an extended cleaning interval of the DPF from 3,000 to 6,000 hours. Additionally, it comes with a 230 litre fuel tank.

The transmission is an eight-speed powershift, with shifting progressive adjustment designed for high speed and heavy towing capacity. These powershift models include the new Xpress restart function, as seen on its M7003 series, a brake to clutch function. It will reach 40kph at 1,640rpm.
