Aiming to cater for high-output users, Kuhn has extended its trailed sprayer line-up.
Extending its high capacity sprayer line-up, Kuhn has updated its Oceanis range with the addition of a new model.
Offering 5,000 to 7,700-litre tank capacities, the Oceanis features plastic tanks and is available with conventional bi-fold or compact folding aluminium booms from 24m to 48m.
Kuhn’s Multispray electric nozzle holders with automatic selection are standard fitment, as is automatic single nozzle switching, automatic cleaning and agitation. Pumping the spray down the lines is a 500l/min piston diaphragm unit, with the option of upgrading to a 700l/min centrifugal pump.
At the induction end of the sprayer, a new bowl offers the use of a closed transfer system to reduce the chance of operators coming into contact with harmful substances.
To improve accuracy in dense crops, three sensors are used for boom height control to distinguish between canopy and ground level.
In-cab control can be via IsoBus or one of Kuhn’s control boxes, with the IsoBus system benefitting from the firm’s IsoClick boom height and section controller.
Retail prices for the range start from £77,952, which includes sprung drawbar and improved hydro-pneumatic axle suspension – the latter being steered via the use of a potentiometer.
