A man has been taken to hospital after his tractor overturned on a busy road.
Police were called to the incident in Ramsbottom Road, near Bolton, at around 4.30pm on Wednesday.
A number of cars stopped to help and alert the emergency services - who closed the road.
One motorist told the Bury Times: “The man, who is in his 40s I think, wasn’t speeding, his wheel just clipped the kerb, it is a narrow road.
“The tractor turned over. I was behind him following him towards Bolton.

“I went to him and he was just screaming get me out. He had injured his leg but said he could feel his toes. I tried to keep him calm and a few of us had stopped and called the emergency services.
“He was talking but the pain would come in waves, I don’t know how much pain he would have been in.
"I stayed until the emergency services arrived."
The driver gave dashcam footage to the police, who have launched an investigation.
