Meadow Foods announces September price rise #teamdairy

Meadow Foods has announced that it will be increasing its milk price by 0.85ppl from September 1 which will take its standard A litre milk price to 29ppl.

 

It followed a rise of 1ppl in August.

It said its estimated B Price range for July was between 30ppl and 33ppl with the market currently showing signs of strengthening going into the autumn.

 

Simon Chantler, executive chairman at Meadow Foods, said: “We are pleased to be able to pass on this additional increase to our producers.

 

“We will continue to watch the market closely and hope to continue to be able to move our price forward as soon as we can.”
