Monmouth fatal farm incident victim named

Investigations are underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A man has been killed in an accident on a farm in Monmouth.

 

A statement from Gwent Police confirmed that at 12:34pm on Wednesday May 25, the emergency services received a report of an industrial incident at Mason Lane, near Monmouth.

 

It said: "Sadly, a 65 year old man from the Tredegar area was pronounced dead at the scene. He can now be named as David Llewellyn.

 

"A joint investigation between Gwent Police and the Health and Safety Executive is still on-going to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
