Providing exhibitors with a platform to introduce ground-breaking innovations to the market, 2019’s Lamma Show will see the re-launch of its renowned Lamma Innovation Awards.
Open to exhibitors of the Lamma Show, the Lamma Innovation Awards will remain free to enter with deadline for entry on October 31, 2018.
The Awards will champion agricultural machinery, equipment and services innovations that are mindful in their impact on the environment, a sustainable concept, practical in their use and progressive in their design and safety features.
An independent judging panel of industry experts will review all entries based on set criteria, with winners being announced in December 2018.
Gold and Silver winners will be presented with a trophy that they can display on their stand at Lamma'19. All shortlisted entrant medal winners will benefit from extensive editorial coverage in Farmers Guardian, social media and the Lamma Showguide.
There will also be one winner's winner selected from all the gold medal winners by the judges during the show. They will receive the Lamma Founders Award at a drinks reception taking place on the evening of Tuesday 8th January which all winners will be invited to.
The Institution of Agricultural Engineers will be awarding their IVEL award to the best product or environmental innovation. Entrants are automatically entered into this and the winner will be announced during the drinks reception.
Gold and silver medal winners will also feature in the brand new Lamma Innovation Trail; a guided trail around the event for visitors to follow, showcasing winning innovations on exhibitors' stands.
The Innovation Trail will be featured in the Farmers Guardian Lamma preview, the Lamma Showguide and will be promoted heavily on social media, on emails and on the Lamma website.
As well as promotion of the medal winners on the Innovation Trail, shortlisted entrants and medal winners will benefit from extensive media coverage with help from the Lamma marketing team.
Its team will promote exhibitor's content on social media, targeted emails and the Lamma blog and will be on hand to help promote the shortlisted exhibitors and medal winners as much as possible.
