Firefighters have been battling a large fire on a farm near Chester.
Firefighters tackled the flames at Mill Lane Farm in Willaston throughout the night after a coop caught alight on the poultry farm.
Crews were called just after midnight when a fire started in a 50 metre by ten metre, single story coop.
When they arrived the building was well alight and it took four crews, including one from a neighbouring service, over eight hours to tackle the blaze.
Firefighters, two wearing breathing apparatus, used three main jets to put out the fire.
The coop, which normally holds turkeys, was empty because the farm does not have turkeys at this time of year.
Although the blaze was next to a pig sty - all the animals are said to be unharmed.
Photos from the scene show the coop completely reduced to ash.
