Gold Cup 2017 winners showcase tips for success

Gold Cup 2017 winners Rich and Chris Norman, Pembridge, Herefordshire, are set to open their gates on Thursday 14th June for an open day focussed on strategic success.

A series of talks will take place on the day, all from speakers who the brothers consider as influential to their achievements which led them to win the award last year.

 

The theme, strategic success on autumn block grazing system, will look at how the pair assess their business structure to identify and develop opportunities linked, not only to the dairy unit, but the farms other enterprises.

 

Other topics covered will include: -

  • The importance of succession planning and the role of governance in the farms success.
  • The factors driving business performance, including staff management and motivation and what drives a successful team.
  • The importance of aligning and linking farming with the environment and the mutual benefits this could have on-farm and for wildlife.
