The efforts, dedication and commitment of YFC clubs and individuals were showcased during Sunday’s NFYFC AGM.
Alongside the social activities that YFC clubs participate in, competitions, fundraising and retaining membership are at the heart of clubs across the country.
A portfolio of awards were presented at Sunday’s packed AGM and the winners are detailed below.
This award recognises excellence in delivery and continued hard work of YFC trainers who deliver Curve modules - a series of interactive workshops exploring a variety of topics including organising the best money spinners to strengthening relationships in clubs.
The winner of this award is Nottinghamshire YFC and is received by Natasha Hoggard.
This award is to recognise the champion county federation scoring the most points in the National Competitions finals 2016/17. Presented by Charlotte Smith
This winner of this award is Devon A FYFC and is received by Colin Tucker.
The reserve county federation scoring the most points in the 2015/16 national competitions programme.
The winner of this award is Cumbria A and is received by Christina Coulthard.
This award marks the county federation with the largest percentage increase in membership over the past three years.
This is awarded to Oxfordshire FYFC, with an increase of 25.93 per cent and is received by Lawry Taylor and Amber Game.
This trophy is presented to the county Federation raising the most money per member for a charitable cause outside of YFC.
This year’s total amount raised from 23 county entries is £527,307.98
The laws of averages tells us that if every county federation would return the details of the charity fundraising the YFC could claim to be raising in excess of £1.2 million.
This winner of this award is Essex FYFC (raising a total of £38,607.30 with 380 members, which equates to £101.60 per member. The award is received by James Carey.
This trophy is presented to the club which has raised the greatest amount of funds per member for charitable purposes over the last 12 months.
The winner of this award is Colchester YFC for raising £16,000 during the year and is received by Marcus Bailey.
Awarded to the YFC member making the greatest contribution to the democratic proceedings of the NFYFC annual general meeting.
