The event has announced online it is not currently taking bookings for this year
Speculation has continued around the future of the Livestock event following a notice stating they were not currently taking bookings from exhibitors.
The notice, posted on its website, said it was currently ‘reviewing the delivery and pricing structure’.
“We are aware that exhibitors will be keen to firm up arrangements soon, however while we review the options available to them, we are not taking any bookings as the packages may well change.”
Matthew Knight, managing director of RABDF said the announcement was due to ‘commercial issues’.
It was announced earlier in the year the event would revert back to its historic September timeslot and become a one day event.
There has also been discussion of a merger between it and UK Dairy Day, which is planned one week later (September 13).
In July, traders and exhibitors expressed disappointment to Farmers Guardian due to the reduction in visitor numbers and atmosphere at the 2016 event.
