Limousin bulls sold to 10,000gns to average £4,482 down £700 on last year with a 65 per cent clearance rate.
Sale leader was Ironstone Oliver the intermediate and reserve overall champion from Dougie McBeath and Sarah Jane Jessop, Stirling. Bred by Smiths of Bloxham, the March 2018-born bull by Ironstone Gandi is out of Brockhurst Batik, a former Royal Highland Show reserve inter-breed champion and sold to Christine and Paul Tippetts, Shifnal, Shropshire.
Making 9,000gns from Dougie and Lynda Graham and sons, John and James, Blair Drummond, was Burnbank Ollymurs, a February 2018-born son of Mereside Lorenzo out of Burnbank Grace which sold to Glass and Smith, Alford, Aberdeenshire.
Corsairtly Oswald, a January 2018-born bull by Ronick Inspector out of Corsairtly Janelle which has won six breed championships and two reserve inter-breed titles at summer shows sold for 8,000gns. Consigned by Richard and Kathleen Davidson, Keith, it went home with R. Simpson and Son, Alyth.
The Irvine family, Drummuir sold Anside Olaf, an 18-month-old son of Powerful Irish out of Anside Gia for 7,500gns to Walter Dandie and Son, Broxburn.
Anside Odin, another 18-month-old bull by Powerful Irish, this time out of Anside Jaff, from the Irvines sold for 6,500gns to Stuart MacMillan, Isle of Islay.
Three bulls sold for 6,200gns. The first was Spittalton Outlaw, a March 2018-born son of Burnbank Judge out of Spittalton Corrie consigned by Andrew Burnett, Blair Drummond. It was knocked down to A. Sime and Son, Elgin.
The next at this money and from the same home was Spittalton Oxo, a March 2018 born bull by Dinmore Jeanpierre out of Spittalton Loreen which went to the Scottish Government bull stud, Inverness.
The last bull to sell for 6,200gns was Elrick Osprey, an April 2018-born son of Rahoney Geoffrey out of Elrick Fandango from Michael Massie, Ellon. It sold to Robert McNee, Tealing.
