The company also named a new chairman last week
Noble Foods have announced the appointment of Veli Moluluo as the new Managing Director of its £310m Shell Division.
Moluluo joined Noble Foods in 2010, working in a number of commercial roles, and also spent time at Gü Puds as Commercial Director.
Mr Moluluo said: "In my new role, I want to get people excited about eggs again, increasing overall consumption which is, at the moment, among the lowest in Europe."
Last week, John Gildersleeve was announced as chairman. Mr Gildersleeve spent 20 years on the Board at Tesco and is currently chairman of British Land and deputy chairman of TalkTalk Telecom.
He has also been a non-executive director at Vodafone, Lloyds TSB and Dixons Carphone and chairman at New Look and Carphone Warehouse.
Mr Gildersleeve said he had been impressed by the company’s ’entrepreneurial and innovative edge’.
"As the first fully integrated egg business Noble has demonstrated extraordinary skills.
"These range from its core strength in the commodity egg market through to creating the UK’s first national egg brand, happy egg, and latterly its successful integration of the iconic dessert brand Gü into its portfolio."
Dale Burnett, CEO, said: "We are very pleased that John is going to Chair Noble Foods Group.
"He comes at a key time when we are seeking to accelerate the business and his knowledge of the retail sector and long term experience with national and international brands will be invaluable in helping us deliver our strategy for growth."
Noble Foods have also appointed Tim Morris as Company Secretary.
