Ronaldo launches Three Counties Show

This year’s Royal Three Counties Show was launched at Hereford Cathedral last week (27 May), with a guest appearance from local celebrity, Ronaldo the Hereford bull.

Ronaldo came together with a collection of representatives from Hereford, this year’s show’s host county, paying homage to the show’s Herefordshire heritage, standing close towhere the society was founded in 1797.


Hawkesbury 1 Ronaldo, Hereford FC’s club mascot, also recently made the headlines as it was paraded around Wembley Stadium prior to Hereford FC’s match versus Morpeth Town in the FA Vase Final.


Bred by D. and E. Colledge, the five year old bull is now owned by H. Weston and Sons, the cider producers. It is by Dorepoll 1 499 Emporer and out of Hawkesbury 1 Violet and was led by Tom Manns and Tom Skittery at the event.
