A Shropshire business owner has decorated his concrete truck in a pledge of solidarity with local dairy farmers.
Tudor Griffiths Group has invested in the new truck which has been sign-written to resemble the markings on a Holstein Fresian cow.
Managing director of the Ellesmere based concrete suppliers, Tudor Griffiths said he felt it was ’important we made a visible gesture of our support to the agricultural sector’.
"We’ve been in business for over 140 years and we’re based in the heart of rural north Shropshire, with many of our customers involved in the dairy farming industry.
"I felt it was important that we made a very visible gesture of our support for the agricultural sector in these tough times, and I’m sure our new-look truck will be the perfect way to draw attention to the plight of our country’s farmers.
"Our company employs more than 250 people in mainly rural areas, and so we have a lot in common with agricultural businesses – we also understand the trials and tribulations of running a company in today’s difficult financial climate in such a rural environment.
"It’s a great opportunity to assure our farming neighbours of our steadfast support and show our appreciation of their dedication and commitment to their industry."
