Thiram deadlines confirmed

PGRO has confirmed that the sell-out periods and usage deadlines for thiram have been officially issued on the Chemicals Regulation Division (CRD) website.

Used as a seed dressing for crops including combinable peas and sugar beet, the European Commission decided not to renew authorisation for use of thiram earlier this month.

 

The sell-out periods and usage deadlines for thiram are:

 

January 30, 2019 for the sale and distribution of thiram-containing products.

January 30, 2020 for the disposal, storage and use of existing stocks.

January 30, 2020 – seed treated with thiram must be planted by this date.
