Two men killed in farm tragedy at Sunk Island

Two local men have been found dead at a farm in East Yorkshire.

Police and The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) are investigating an industrial incident which left two men dead at Sunk Island, East Yorkshire.

 

Humberside Police were notified of an industrial incident by the ambulance service, shortly before 4:30pm on Monday, December 14 at a working farm in Sunk Island, Hull.

 

Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said the men were discovered near a slurry pit.

 

A spokesperson from Humberside Police said: "Sadly two men were discovered on the farm with fatal injuries, following the industrial accident.

 

"A 32-year-old farm worker from Roos and a 36-year-old farm worker from Sunk Island were the casualties, who were found deceased on the farm."
