‘We continue to focus on maximising returns to our farmers’ – First Milk holds milk price for January
First Milk has announced it will hold its milk price for January 2020.
Its liquid standard litre price will stay at 27ppl for January, with the manufacturing standard litre at 27.9ppl.
Both include the member premium.
First Milk vice chairman and farmer director Jim Baird said: “As we head towards the end of the year, the dairy markets appear fairly stable.
“First Milk continues to focus on maximising returns to our farmers and, as we look forward to 2020, we believe we are well-placed for the future as we work together to deliver dairy prosperity.”
