New Holland is a proud supporter of the Back British Farming campaign, as the brand with the largest tractor manufacturing facility in the UK and a key contributor to the success of farming around the globe since it began tractor production in 1964.
We have proudly manufactured in the same site at Basildon, Essex, for more than 54 years, currently employing more than 800 people in the UK and ranking among the top 15 UK exporters.
With a long heritage of innovation and product development, Basildon has produced some of the most popular tractor models ever made, assembled in Essex and exported all over the world: Ford 4000, Ford 7810 and, currently, the award-winning T6, T7 and T7 Heavy Duty models.
With more than 1.6 million tractors produced, 16,000 different tractor specifications and 120 export markets, New Holland confirms itself at the forefront of the production of class leading tractors, becoming the clean energy leader for its effort towards sustainable technology and having its Basildon plant be awarded the bronze standard in the world class manufacturing scale.
Thanks to its continuous support to the local community, it is the perfect example of British-built excellence which consistently helps improve and sustain the British agricultural sector.
