#YFCAGM2017 - everything you need to know this weekend...

More than 5,000 young farmers from across England and Wales will gather together to celebrate being part of one of the largest rural youth organisations in the UK - and the Riviera Centre’s 10th anniversary hosting the event!

We’ve pulled together all the information you need to make sure your YFC AGM 2017 experience is spot on...

  • Where? Riviera Centre, Torquay
  • When? Friday, April 21-23

For many, the YFC AGM is a chance for a much-deserved break from farm life. There’s entertainment, national competition finals and an agricultural forum to get stuck into.

Young farmers also have the chance to voice their opinions on the future of the industry at the 85th annual AGM.

Many of the clubs attending from England and Wales use the journey to Devon to raise some of the estimated £1.2 million that YFCs generate every year for charities.

Young farmers travelling from Yorkshire, Cornwall and Oxfordshire will be trekking, paddling and tandem cycling to the venue in Torquay.

Thirty members of Cornwall Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs will be travelling over 100 miles from north Cornwall’s coast – Padstow – to south Devon’s coast – Torquay, in aid of Alzheimer’s Society.

YFC members from Oxfordshire and Yorkshire will tandem cycle to the event to raise money for charities Blue Skye Thinking and Anthony Nolan respectively.

Make sure you get behind them!
