LAMMA is the UK’s largest agricultural trade show, where over 850 exhibitors will host the most extensive array of farm machinery, equipment, and services to be found in one location anywhere in the UK.
This year, Paul Barwood and Anita Padfield, Great Yarmouth, attended the South of England show with three breeds of cattle from their 50-strong suckler herd, and reached the inter-breed championships with all of them.
It was a first time win in a beef inter-breed for one show team at this year’s Royal Cornwall show where top honours went to Bernadette and David Stacey, St. Austell, with their British Charolais, Westcarse Iola.
A Texel shearling gimmer from Ian Murray’s Glenway flock, Wooler, swept the board at Northumberland County taking the sheep inter-breed title before going onto be judged the show’s champion of champions.
