HIGHLY SKILLED ARABLE OPERATOR

Southesk Farms is a diverse and progressive 1600 hectare farming business in Angus. An excellent opportunity has arisen to complement a dedicated team with full training available for the right candidate.

Applicants should ideally but not essentially be experienced and competent in:

  • operating a self-propelled and/or trailed sprayer spraying both cereals and potatoes having obtained PA1, 2 & 4 certificates.
  • operating a high output combine harvester and be willing to play a key role in running an efficient harvesting operation.
  • operating a range of modern tractors and arable equipment using GPS.

Applicants must also have a high attention to detail, enthusiasm, the ability to work alone and preferably have experience in large scale arable techniques and the willingness to learn. Good workshop skills and the ability to perform other general farm tasks are a pre-requisite.

Remuneration will be commensurate with the position offering a good house and pension as part of a competitive package.
