Location: near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

Annual Leave: 25 days per annum (incl. some bank holidays)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Farm Stockperson within an outdoor pig breeding unit in Norfolk, near Bury St Edmunds.

The role itself involves completing a range of general farm duties including the following:

  • All aspects of animal husbandry
  • Agricultural machine operation
  • Ensure company health and safety policy and procedure is enforced, including the maintenance of accurate records
  • Ensure high standards of animal welfare at all times

The farm itself is run to a high standard, and is maintained in an organised, tidy and methodical way.

The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure, with a keen eye for detail. Experience is not essential as full training will be provided. However a willingness to work outdoors, and the flexibility to work weekends (on a rota basis) are important.
