Gatekeeper software is the first farm management information system (FMIS) to provide free and seamless integration with Rural Payments Agency (RPA) digital boundaries, claims software provider Farmplan.
Sales manager Ben Hatton said the development would allow growers and agronomists to quickly match their fields in Gatekeeper with their registered field boundaries, making it much easier for users to create general farm management maps and better support precision farming activities.
Farmplan has also enhanced relationships with other crop optimisation services, implementing integrations with Hummingbird and KisanHub and, in addition, is the first software system to integrate the latest version of the nutrient management guide RB209, said Mr Hatton.
Pipeline developments include integration with John Deere Gen.4 software, which is expected to be ready for harvest, and enhanced MySOYL links.
Mr Hatton also outlined Farmplan advice for preparing for harvest in Gatekeeper, which included a stock management and data tidy up and checking the correct modules were in place for precision farming-related activities.
