Young Farmer, 22, dies following incident with tractor

A young farmer has died following an incident with a tractor.

 

The 22-year-old, named locally as Bryn Jones, died at the scene on Saturday (June 2) in Prion, near Denbigh.

 

Tributes have been pouring in for the youngster who was described as ‘a lovely young man’ who was ‘always smiling’.

 

North Wales Police has asked that the privacy of the family is respected.

 

A spokesman said: “NWP can confirm that on the afternoon of Saturday June 2, along with North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and Wales Ambulance Service, we attended an incident involving a tractor in Prion, near Denbigh.

“A 22-year-old young man was tragically killed in the incident, which has been reported to HM Coroner and also the Health and Safety executive.

 

“At this time, no further information is available and NWP would ask that the privacy of the family is respected.”

 

An investigation is taking place.
